I likes to take pictures. Simple as that. I have been doing so with some camera or another since I was 7, when I got my first Polaroid Super Shooter. After that, it was a Kodak Disc camera, but that wasn't my fault. Dime-size negatives were all that this 10 year old could afford.
These days, my preferred tool is the Polaroid 190 camera, with the preferred picture presenting itself on Polaroid peel-apart film; specifically ID-UV. So I am, technically, taking ID photos of the world around me. The Polaroid color and the film's response to varying light (half intentional, half luck) are more real than what I see with my eyes...it expressed a fluidity in time frozen on film. Everything is just "more" to me with this camera and film combo. Or it could be that I just think it's all awfully pretty. It's complicated. Or not.

Polaroid ID-UV,
Originally it was supposed to be used for mug shots for ID cards, leaving a signature on the shot that's only visible in ultraviolet light.
