I started photography about 8 yrs ago with a 35mm Canon camera and a few lenses, eventually moving up to medium format and shooting 6x6 for a few years. I started working with large format cameras in 2004 and then began working in alternative printing process - Cyanotype, Van Dyke Brown, etc. Eventually I moved up to an 8x10 and began making platinum/palladium contact prints.

I was bitten by the Ultra Large Format bug and began shooting with an old 7x17 banquet camera, and most recently my current 12x20 Folmer & Schwing banquet camera.

These images are a collection of 8x10 and 12x20 platinum/palladium contact prints and some cyanotype over platinum/palladium contact prints from in and around Austin,
Texas, USA, my home.

I've come to realize that beauty can be found in the most unlikely of places.
