I started photography about two years ago. I was interested in night time long exposure photography and taught myself by reading about photography on the internet how to do this.
I am interested in making photographs of the mundane and am trying to make my work revolve around the places/spaces in the contemporary (city) landscape that people normally don't consider to be beautiful.
The 17th of june I have my first (shared) gallery exhibition which is curated around night time photography (www.2x2projects.com).
My viaducts series is an example of this and part of a much greater project. I am trying to take series of pictures of different parts of the contemporary landscape, the viaducts
are a start, but I am working on other series as well and have ideas for even more (playgrounds, traffic lights, fences, car park entrances, tunnels and much much more). I
intend to present all these works together as one single body of work.
