Nana Sousa Dias is a  professional Jazz musician and record producer. He is also a gifted photographer, who shoot's mainly with medium and large format camera's. He has his own darkroom and studio. And prints his photography the traditional way.

Giancarlo Rado

The project "Italians" by Giancarlo Rado, a work still in progress of which we are glad to show a selection of 12 photographs, all full figure portraits. The region where Rado has found his "Italians" are the valleys and villages of the north-eastern Italian Alps.

Giancarlo Rado writes about it:
"Portraits of Italians as they are, without any masquerade and make-up. Individuals expressing themselves through the dignity of daily work. No affected posing, no gimmicks no seeking for effects; simply telling with full honesty about what daily life all can be, about struggle and love, passion and aspirations."
